Phan Thiet is a famous tourist spot in Binh Thuan which is familiar to many tourists. But not many people know all of its famous landscapes. There are some typical tourist attractions in Phan Thiet you should visit including:
1. Bai Rang
Bai Rang or Rang Beach is the most beautiful beach of Phan Thiet. It is about 15 km from the city center to the north and lies under dense coconut trees which look like a coconut forest. There are many coral reefs which are dead, turned into stone mixed with beaches with sparkling yellow sand.
Many tourists like walking along the beach, getting out of resorts for sightseeing. This really is pure relaxing space. Rang beach is very shallow with rolling sandy beach stretching to the sea. Taking a bath at Rang Beach in the morning is very interesting. Immerse yourself in the morning on the peaceful beach, you will feel very privacy and comfort.
2. Hon Rom
Hon Rom is the name of a small and unspoiled mountain located in Long Son village, Mui Ne Ward. Here the water is crystal clear with gentle waves. In the morning or afternoon, you could see sunrise or sunset; in the evening, watch the moon on the night sky or organize campfire.
There are some clusters of beaches such as Hon Rom 1, Hon Rom 2 which always attract tourists to visit and relax. Besides bathing, visiting the beach, you also have the chance to challenge yourself with some interesting sea sports sliding sand, driving canoe or ballooning on the sea.
3. Poshanu Cham Tower
Poshanu Cham Tower is a remaining relic of the ancient Champa Kingdom. The tower features the architectural style of Hoa Lai- one of the ancient styles of Champa. In spite of the small and medium-size, the tower has distilled the essence of architectural techniques and decorative arts of the ancient Cham people. This is one of the oldest Cham clusters of the tower which is quite intact.
4. Mui Ne sandhill
Near Hon Rom – one of the famous attractions of Phan Thiet is the sandhill of Mui Ne. In addition to the beautiful appearance, the color of the sand is also a feature attracting many tourists (There are dozens of different colors). The sandhill stretches from Binh Thuan to Ninh Thuan but the most beautiful area is in Mui Ne. It is a unique sandhill in Vietnam originating from an ancient iron mine.
5. Ke Ga Lighthouse
Ke Gia Lighthouse is the most ancient lighthouse in Southeast Asia. It is also the highest lighthouse of the area with around 200 spiral stairs with a total height of 35 meters. The lighthouse was built by the French from 1897 to 1899 with all materials transferred from France.
Upon reaching the top of the lighthouse, you will be overwhelmed by the immense space outside. Do not forget to take as many photos as you want to save memorizing moments.
