Full Itinerary

Day 1:  Hanoi Arrival

Today you’ll land in Hanoi. Warmly welcomed at the airport then transfer to Hanoi Downtown, a city of lakes, shaded boulevards, public parks, and the capital of Vietnam. Check into your hotel. Stay overnight in Hanoi.

Day 2: Hanoi Sightseeing Full Day (B, L)

Today, we will take a full-day city tour to view closely the city. The first destination is Ho Chi Minh complex, including his Mausoleum, house on stilt, pond, and garden. Keep forward to the peaceful Temple of Literature - the first university of Vietnam. Lunch will be served at a local Vietnamese restaurant.

In the afternoon, you will be taken to visit Ethnologic museum which focuses on the 54 officially recognized ethnic groups in Vietnam. Back to the city central, visit Ngoc Son Temple and Hoan Kiem Lake.

You will attend a unique water puppet show before finishing the interesting day. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 3: Hanoi – Mai Chau Valley (L, D)                               

7:30 – 8:00: Pick you up at your Hotel in the Old Quarter in our comfortable car/van

10:00: Short break

11:30 – 12:00: Scenic photo stop of Mai Chau valley/arrive in Mai Chau

12:15: Traditional lunch in our home(vegetarian available)

14:00 – 16:30: Bicycle ride with your tour guide, see farmers working in fields, locals weaving scarves and visit surrounding peaceful villages.

16:30 – 18:00: Free time for cycling, walking, shopping

18:00: Enjoy the dinner at the homestay. Enjoy the Thai’s ethnic Perfomance and drink the traditional wine “ruou can”. Overnight in communal dorm or private Bungalows at Riverside Bungalows.

Day 4: Mai Chau – Hanoi (B, L)

7:30 – 8:00: Wakeup and eat breakfast in Halong Bay

8:30 – 11:30: Hike to 1000 Step Cave and local market

12:15 – 15:00: Lunch and free time to relax before getting on the van to Hanoi

18:30 – 19:00: Drop you off at your hotel. Overnight in Hanoi.

Day 5: Hanoi – Halong Bay on Aclass Legend Cruise (B, L, D)

07.45 – 08.15 approx

 Our guide will meet you at your hotel.

 Enjoy the peaceful scenery as we travel through the countryside, farmlands and Red River Delta.

 Get your camera ready to take photos. Comfort break. The time from Hanoi to Halong bay is approximately 3,5 hours.

12 – 12.30 approx

 Arriving Tuan Chau Marina. Welcome aboard the cruise. Refresh with our welcome drink. Meet the captain, crew in the cruise briefing.

 Check into your cabin. Time to refresh and unwind.

 Set sail as lunch is served.

 Join us for a typical local lunch in the dining room or at the outdoor dining area.

Afternoon

 Arrive at Surprising Cave, explore the cave and find out how the cave was named a Surprising.

 Heading to Titop island area. Drop anchor in the calm water surrounded by beautiful islets. Visit Titop Island for swimming and snorkeling or do the short trek to the top of the island to have the overview of Halong bay from here.

 Heading back toward the sleeping area.

Early evening

 Summit on the sundeck watching the sunset, enjoy Sunset party. It’s an ideal time to make acquaintance with new friends, sharing your traveling experience or simply watching the sunset.

 An authentic Vietnamese menu is served.

 After dinner, reward yourself with a large selection of cocktails at our bar, or take for you one of our onboard activities: book reading, games, movies, and squid fishing.

Day 6: Halong Bay – Hanoi – Flight to Hue (B, L)

06.30 am: For the early risers join us for a Tai Chi session on the sundeck. Tai chi helps focus the mind and condition the body, joining Tai Chi session to full charge your energy for the day.

07.00 – 08.00 am: Local breakfast is served.

 Mingling yourself in the stunning views of the bay and it’s dramatic limestone islets as we sail through the calm emerald waters heading to Luon Cave.

 Take your bamboo boat rowed by the locals to visit how beautiful of the cave.

09.00 am: Check out the cabins, at your leisure while our cruise taking you to pass by other beautiful highlights in the bay.

10.00 am: You will join with our short class of Cooking demonstration, how to make spring rolls before an early lunch is served.

12.00 pm: Transfer back to Hanoi. Our driver will take you to Noi Bai airport for flight to Hue. Check-in in hotel and overnight in Hue.

Day 7: Full day sightseeing in Hue City – Old Imperial City (B, L)

Have breakfast. Visit the Tomb of Tu Duc king or Khai Dinh king.

11:30: Have lunch at the restaurant with local foods.

12:30: Visit the Imperial Citadel, the Palace of 13 Nguyen’s Kings, the last feudal dynasty of Viet Nam

15:00: Visit Thien Mu pagoda, was built in the early XVII Century. Shopping at Dong Ba Market.

16:00: Leave Hue for Hoi An. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 8: My Son Sanctuary half day Tour & Hoi An City Tour (B, L)

Leave the hotel at 8.00 am. Drive to My Son, a World Heritage, 50 km southwest of Hoi An. Located in a lush valley, My Son was a capital and religious center of Cham people, now remaining with red brick towers and sanctuaries. My Son, considered to be in the same league as some of Southeast Asia's greatest archaeological sites, including Angkor in Cambodia, Bagan in Myanmar, Ayutthaya in Thailand and Borobudur in Indonesia. These towers and sanctuaries were built from the 7 to 13 centuries. Return to Town for lunch.

Afternoon, we will start walking tour around the ancient town to visit Japanese Covered Bridge, Pottery Museum, Tan Ky old house, Cantonese congregation, the silk street of Hoi An, temples and pagodas of Chinese appearance. Overnight in Hoi An.

Day 9: Hoi An Free Time – Flight to Saigon (B)

Fly to Ho Chi Minh City, Saigon, the largest Vietnamese city. Stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 10: Cu Chi Tunnels – Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B, L)

This morning, you will be picked up and transferred to Cu Chi tunnel to explore the network of mysterious underground tunnels where witnessed fierce Vietnam – American war in the past. It was a city where around 10.000 people virtually lived underground for years with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, contributing to resistance to American forces. Today, it becomes a popular tourist attraction, reflecting a part of Vietnam history.

After lunch, you’ll back to Ho Chi Minh City and spend this afternoon exploring the dynamic city. Visit Reunification Palace, the former palace of President Thieu and his predecessors; War Remnants Museum; Notre Dame Cathedral and Old Post Office.

Overnight in Ho Chi Minh.

Day 11: Full day to Mekong Delta (B, L)

Today takes you to My Tho, the capital of Tien Giang Province. Situated on the Mekong River, 75 kilometers southeast of Ho Chi Minh City, the city is surrounded by orchards and rice fields, which produce grain for the entire country.

Visit one or two of the islands that produce traditional handcrafts, coconut candy, and bee farms. Visit the Vinh Trang Pagoda, the oldest ones in the delta on your boat trip on the Mekong River.

Return to Ho Chi Minh City. Check-in hotel & stay overnight in Ho Chi Minh City.

Day 12: Phong Dien – Cai Rang (B, L)

Take a leisurely boat trip to explore the picturesque tributaries of the Lower Mekong river ( Bassac River), then proceed to visit Cai Rang floating market.

Day 13: Ho Chi Minh City departure (B)

You have the morning free to relax before your return flight home. Finish your unforgettable Vietnam trip.
