Full Itinerary

Day 1: Saigon Arrival Dinner On Saigon Cruise (B)

Arrive in Ho Chi Minh, meet and greeted by your tour guide then transferred to the hotel in the city center. Early check in is up on the room’s availability (Check-in time at the hotel is 14.00). Left of time, you can relax at leisure at your hotel or discover the city by yourself.

This evening, you will enjoy dinner at a restaurant cruise on Saigon River. Enjoy Vietnamese cuisine while admiring the colorful city's lights dotting along riversides.

Stay overnight in Saigon.

Day 2: Cu Chi Tunnel Ho Chi Minh City Tour (B, L)

In the morning, take a trip to visit the famous Cu Chi Tunnels, an incredible underground tunnel network constructed by Vietnamese resistance fighters during the long struggle for independence. The Cu Chi Tunnel system had been created a long time back, from 1948 to assist Viet Minh in the combat with French. And it was continuing built over 25 years later. It was an underground city with living areas, kitchens, storage, weapons factories, field hospitals, command centers. In places, it was housed up to 10,000 people who virtually lived underground for years.... getting married, giving birth. During the American War, the entire area of Cu Chi has designated a free-fire zone and was heavily bombarded. From 1988, two sections of tunnels have been open for visitors.

After Lunch, you will visit the City. First visiting is Reunification Palace which is formerly known as Independence Palace, built on the site of the former Norodom Palace. The Palace was designed by architect Ngo Viet Thu and was the home and workplace of the President of South Vietnam during the Vietnam War. It was the site of the end of the Vietnam War during the Fall of Saigon on April 30, 1975, when a North Vietnamese Army tank crashed through its gates.

Continue to visit City Hall, Ho Chi Minh Monument and Central Post Office which was constructed when Vietnam was part of French Indochina in the early 20th century. It has a neoclassical architectural style. It was designed and constructed by the famous architect Gustave Eiffel in harmony with the surrounding area. Today, the building is a tourist attraction.

Right nearby, you can see Notre Dame Cathedral, a magnificent building located in the heart of the city and be established by French colonists. This cathedral was constructed between 1863 and 1880. It has two bell towers, reaching a height of 58 meters (190 feet).

Your trip will end at Ben Thanh market where you can see many kinds of local produce from fruit, food to clothes…

Drive back to your hotel. Stay overnight in Saigon.

Day 3: Cu Chi Cai Be Can Tho (B, L, D)

Transferring from the center of Ho Chi Minh City at 7.30, you will reach Cai Be at 10.00am. We will pick up you at the first stop-over - Cao Dai Temple in Cai Be which is symbolizing for the local unique religion and then the Cai Be Cathedral.

After that, you will embark on the boat to visit the inland and floating markets of Cai Be to observe the daily life of local people as well as to know how the two markets differ from each other.

You will buy fresh tropical fruits right at locals’ own boats and have the chance to talk to them for exploring more their own culture value along with their daily life.

Leaving the market, you will continue with a hand-rowing boat tour to discover the exciting Mekong river life. The small boat will travel through the tiny canals and lead you to our mysterious spots on the river.

Back to the main tourist boat and transfer to the local hosted family (located on Tan Phong Island). Take a short rest, have a drink and taste the local fresh fruits.

Next, we will cycle around to visit Tan Phong Island. If it is on a school day, you will also have a chance to make friends with local cute and gentle pupils in a village school. Stop at a local farmer’s house to savor a cup of tea and local specialties of banana candies. You can try plucking the fruits at the host’s garden and talk to him to understand how local farmers take care of their gardens.

You will cycle back to the family for lunch with local food and break before embarking on boat to leave Tan Phong Island for the pier to heading Can Tho.

Arrival in Can Tho, check in your local home-stay. Spend the night at the rustic home. Stay overnight in Can Tho.

Day 4: Can Tho Floating Market Phu Quoc By Flight (B)

In the early morning, you will take a boat to Cai Rang floating market – The biggest wholesale tropical fruits on the floating market. The shops and stalls at the market are boats of different sizes. Cai Rang Floating Market is open all day but it is busiest from sunrise to about 9 am. The main items sold there are farm products and specialties of Cai Rang Town, Chau Thanh District, and neighboring areas. Every boat has a long upright pole at its bow on which samples of the goods for sale are hung.

Drive back to your home-stay for breakfast. After that, check out your bungalow for transfer to Can Tho airport for a flight to Phu Quoc.

Welcome, the pearl island of Vietnam. You will join the hotel’s shuttle for transfer to your hotel. Check in and relax.

This afternoon, you will have free time to relax at leisure, go swimming in the sea or discover the island by yourself.

Stay overnight in Phu Quoc.

Day 5: Phu Quoc Visit The Island (B, L)

This day, you will discover the Island both the North and South.

Sim wine factory: When visiting the Sim wine factory, you will have the opportunity to see, hear from processing the delicious wines from fruit sim of owners sim wine production factory. After visiting, you can buy a bottle of sim wine to bring back home.

Pearl Farm: There are many Pearl shops on the Island, and here you will find some remarkable pearls and interesting information about the history of pearl farming on the island.

Fish Sauce factory: this is the main industry of this Island.

Coconut Prison: The coconut tree prison which is also known as “Phu Quoc Prison” is located in An Thoi Village, Phu Quoc. The prison was built by French people and use under French colony and American War.

Fishing Village (Ham Ninh): You will find a jetty that extends a couple of hundred meters out to sea to allow for the shallow waters along the coast here.

Suoi Tranh Waterfall (available from May to October)

Pepper Farm: You’ll find pepper plantations mostly around the island and most farmers won’t mind you stopping to take photos or viewing these amazing storks of pepper trees or the drying pepper. You can also buy pepper products to bring home as souvenirs, to impress your friends and relatives.

Phu Quoc Dog Farm (Ridgeback dog): On the Island, there is a sanctuary which is great fun for dog lovers to visit on their tour.

Phu Quoc National Park (forest walking): There is a good walking trail 5km before Ganh Dau, where the going is relatively easy and trail wide enough to take in the surrounding environment.

Cape Ganh Dau (Cambodia view): Just adventure through the village and you’ll find this little piece of paradise.

Lunch will be served on this trip. Stay overnight in Phu Quoc.

Day 6: Phu Quoc Free And Easy (B)

You have a full day free on this day. You can choose to relax on the beach or the optional activities (not included in the program):

Joining a fun day tour diving and snorkeling

Try the beautiful cable car at Sunworld Hon Thom Park

Stay overnight in Phu Quoc.

Day 7: Phu Quoc Ho Chi Minh City By Flight Departure (B)

Today is your final day. You are free to chill out and relax. Depending on your departure flight, you will join the hotel’s shuttle bus to Phu Quoc airport for flight to Ho Chi Minh City then connect to your international flight. We wish you a safe and pleasant journey.
